2012 Movie Box Office

Now that it’s all over, of course the end result is what matters… how did it perform at the box office?
According to Box Office Mojo – http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=2012.htm it did about $155M domestically and rather better in the worldwide release – almost $700M. As would be expected I suppose for a movie with worldwide repercussions.

Wall Street Journal 2012 Review

Joe Morgenstern didn’t seem to think it was a great movie… too long mostly and formulaic. Too bad. Roland Emmerich’s other films were kind of epic and interesting, but apparently this one did not make the grade.
