We must remember that most of the prophecies in the book of Revelations must still be fulfilled, i.e. the 7 years of tribulation and the final battle at Armegeddon, then God will rule on earth for a 1000 years. The promise is a new earth and a new heaven. Uncovering the book of Revaltions will tell whetther the 2012 destruction of earth fits into the calulation of time available.

Hi, the 2012 saga as I shall call in it, what exactly wil happen? I am not a very devoted Christian at the moment even tho I have a priest as a grandfather. But to me when they talk bout the end of the world, dont you think they mean it in a spiritual way? I have three amazing kids and seeing the end of the world thru their eyes is when all technology falls away and when we go back to prehistoric times. God created earth and he can take it away, but I believe in a God that wont cause pain and heartache but rather happiness and love. The end of the world can happen yes but who are we to say when. Maybe the day we die is the day our world ends. Your world as a individual can end.
